Impeachment of Donald J. Trump House Judiciary Committee

"[Impeachment is] the most formidable weapon for the purposes of dominant faction that ever was contrived. It would be the most effectual one for getting rid of any man whom they consider as dangerous to their views, and I do not know that we could count on one-third in an emergency." --Thomas Jefferson, The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, 1798

In December 2019, the US House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Democrat Jerry Nadler, issued their final report, Impeachment of Donald J. Trump, presenting two articles of impeachment: Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress. This report also contains the views of the dissenting minority.
