A complex novel of love, family, and secrets.

This is the story of six sisters, their troubled past, the heartbreaking secrets they kept hidden, and a sequence of events that affected the sisters and the next generation.

Told as Clarice's memories, this is an extraordinary novel of how a family's resentment affects the members' lives. Clarice wants her readers to know the truth. Secrets only cause pain, emotional and physical. The tragedy is the six sisters did not seek help.

Clora Miller lives in Manvel, Texas. She is married to her husband of thirty-nine years and has three sons and one daughter. She attended the University of Houston for criminal justice.

This is her first book. Her goal is to write a second book and reveal the secrets and the effect each secret had on everyday life. The third book will tell how the secrets poisoned the next generation. There is help; there are resources and hotlines to help families. No one needs to live in fear or be ashamed, no matter what the secret is.
