The Voice of the Rooster Ellen Beth Berman

We may travel the world looking for "that one special spot".

What if this place is not outside of ourselves, but within?

What if all our journeys lead us to the same destination?

the root of our creativity?

that which unites us as human beings?

our personal mission on earth?

how the world was fabricated to be?

What can a simple rooster teach us upon awakening?

What if his "song" is truly the song of our heart?

Hollywood Book Review

This book was awarded a Hollywood Book Review-Star of Excellence, a special seal awarded

only to books of exceptional merit. "The balance the author found between the vivid imagery used

in the incredible writing style the poet found and the personal and emotional narrative each poem

took on, was inspired to say the least."---Tony Espinoza

U. S. Books Review

"Berman asserts that a face, an innocence, and 'a glimpse of the True Artist' can inspire all aspects

of life. Truth has no mask... The image invoked by the book's title is exemplary.... Berman's work

could motivate readers interested in poetic construction and the rich history behind the offerings

gathered here."---Barbara Bamberger-Scott

Pacific Review

"The rooster has one job and does it well. Being grateful for daily experiences in life demonstrates

that we are created to go into the world and live a fulfilling life... We should appreciate the good

people that enter our lives showing us their genuineness...because it is a rare find."---Rae Capri
