Lizzy Kyle Tierney, a fifty-year-old outgoing Cocoa Beach widow, has had it. She's tired of staring at the same four walls and surviving day after day in sadness. So the Scotland-born lass decides to do something so outrageous in the eyes of friends, neighbors, and relatives that tongues will wag for possibly years. Lizzy is going to live on a cruise ship to experience adventure, self-growth, new friends, and if a man comes along, she's open to the possibility--and that quickly becomes reality before the ship leaves the port, as she meets Angus, a gorgeous Scottish hunk who happens to work on the ship for the fun of it.

In The Cruise to Forever, the first book of the Cruise Ship Adventures Series, while on her first two-week cruise as a resident on the Jubilee Islander, Lizzy is busy spotting and saving a stranded Jamaican teen floating on a few pieces of wood from his destroyed fishing boat, helping twins find their biological parents, learning to swim with Angus's help, and while in port, she and Angus solve Nassau's mystery of the thieving monkey--all while negotiating the waters of their budding romance. Along the way, Lizzy helps a suicidal critter ridder, fights deadly Caribbean pirates with Angus, and solves the ship's jewelry heist mystery--you won't believe who did it!

The Cruise to Forever clutches at the heart and taps into our hopes, dreams, and fears we face through the course of life that sets one on a self-growth trajectory from emptiness, death, fear, and the reality that just because you're not twenty anymore doesn't mean you're dead.
