What is a family is a book about different family structures and it includes all of the different kinds of family dynamics. It's entirely inclusive as far as age, race, & gender. I illustrated it this way so that children would be able to see themselves and their family on any page. From Single or Adoptive parents to families blended by marriage, or separated by distance. Every family structure is covered in an uplifting and positive way, celebrating our uniqueness.
