Many decades ago, a man's word and a handshake were all that was needed as a sign of being good for one's word. Since that time and while living in the 21st Century, honesty and truth are very difficult to find. In a society where what's good is deemed bad and what's bad is good, it's a struggle to find honesty among family members, schools, and people in general. While there's nothing wrong with giving to others, things are valued more when they are earned. In this story, Mike and a group of his peers are on the verge of falsifying their food receipts on a road trip to a college festival. After reading the story, think of ways you can practice being truthful in everything you say and do.
