Turning Rocks into Diamonds: A Guide to Leading Leaders Into the New Millennium Cynthia M Thompson

"Care for the flock of God entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly - not for what you get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God" - 1 Peter 5:2

Turning Rocks into Diamonds: A Guide to Leading in the New Millennium is a go-to guide for experienced and new Christian leaders continuing or beginning ministry work in the church. In this book, author Cynthia M. Thompson shares the wisdom she has gained through extensive ministry experience alongside her view of leadership in the Christian church today.

The underlying leadership style central to this guide is spiritual leadership. Spiritual leadership sets itself apart from natural leadership by combining a leader's God-given vision and humble character with serving others, just as Jesus, Peter, and Paul did. Cynthia highlights the current problems faced by the church and offers spiritual leadership as a solution.

Cynthia's guide is charity focused. Readers are encouraged to love the spiritual sons and daughters God provides beyond their imperfections - turning rocks into diamonds. Experience and new leaders reading this book can expect to be inspired and built up for the journey ahead, reminded that domestic ministry is the core of success (effective ministry always begins at home), and urged to stay true to their own anointing while rejoicing with spiritual sons and daughters as they grow into their own gifts from the Holy Spirit.

This book offers valuable leadership guidance to Christians in ministry, and it offers a loving perspective for any Christian seeking to grow in love, grace, and truth.
