As a result of LSD ingestion in 1994, I awoke a beast in the grip of mental illness and, being untreated for approximately seven years, violence and irrationality became mainstream. Finally force-medicated in prison hospital, I slowly reconnected old neurological maps and formed new ones. All the while, I always felt I had something to offer creatively, eventually morphing into an author. My battle with homelessness finally ceased mid 2009, and again I found my feet relating to employment, being acknowledged as the most financially successful "Big Issue" vendor since its inception to Australia. I was given the go ahead by specialists to discontinue medication in November 2011, and now consider myself neuro typical, which coincided with an offer by Strategic Books to publish my works. It has been a hell of a journey thus far and I feel I am still only a small part of the way through. I have much, much more to offer as an author and will publish again, no doubt. Psychotic Verses was written within prison, hospital and asylums. These works are a result of what little rationalisation I possessed. About the Author: Glenn J.
