The Calm Before the Storm: a Night in Sleepy Hollow (Adventures in Extreme Reading, Book 2) Jan Fields

In this action-packed series, Carter Lewis and Isabelle Hunter help their computer-crazy uncle who has created a totally new kind of book experience. You don't read Uncle Dan's version of classic books; you live them in a virtual reality simulation. When Uncle Dan realizes someone has hacked his system and is corrupting his books, Carter and Isabelle must work together to help him uncover and beat the hacker.

In Book 2, Uncle Dan is still tracking down the hacker known as Storm. While Carter waits, he's looking for a way to get out of actually reading his homework. Isabelle has been busy cleaning up the virtual reality code and adding code to add them as characters in a story, so they head into "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." But, Isabelle didn't give them a way to get out. With them both in the book, no one is running the computers, which means they could be trapped for years! Can Carter find an exit and save them both before the Headless Horseman gets them?
