Christian, do you know who you are? Well, we know we are going to heaven and probably ought to be good until then, but is that all? Is Christian salvation nothing more than being good today for the promise of a future? Christians have talked about salvation for so long we have forgotten its meaning and power. We are saved, so what? What is the big deal? Is salvation a big deal? Sometimes, we stop even talking about salvation. The Christianity of the Bible is a powerful, life-giving, history-changing faith and life, but Christianity in the western world is too often unremarkable and declining. Are we missing something? There is more. There is so much more. Come, read and study. Open your heart and mind to the riches of Christian life and faith. Explore the life to which you have been saved, the life the Father intended for you in your creation. An ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, Rev. Moreau holds a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. When health issues necessitated leaving parish ministry, she used the time to respond to one of the greatest needs in the local church today: the need for the laity to be taught the content of the faith and to come to see the world through the eyes of Christ - in short, to love God with all of their minds. Over a decade of service in the local church convinced Rev. Moreau that the laity desire the deeper things of God. Raised in East Texas, Rev. Moreau now lives in Houston, where she continues to write and teach as her health improves. She has one son, Paul, and is the grandmother of the most precious grandchildren ever born: Brandon, Kenny, Kyler, Kambrei and Brianna.
