In His great mercy, He took me from a hundred and fifty dollar a day drug habit, to Deacon of one of the oldest churches in America in two short years. Cantrell (Born Aug 19, 1955) Born and raised in West Virginia, in a small coal mining town Paul moved to the Washington DC area in 1966. Although raised in church, the glamour of the big city and the drug culture of the 60's and 70's took a heavy toll from a young man's life. Even a beautiful wife and young daughter could not break the grip that Satan had on his life. Only the Grace of God had the power to break the cycle of a twenty five year addiction. Currently residing in Northern Virginia, Paul is now an Ordained Deacon of First Baptist Church of Alexandria, one of the oldest churches in America.
