Does the Bible teach about martial arts? Should a Christian ever fight? If God is a "God of love," why are wars so common? These questions and more are addressed in To Know a Warrior, a deep and complex look into the history of fighting in the Bible and the nature of God and man. Since Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, the world has been afflicted with violence. The war between good and evil continues to rage, and the battles are not always spiritual. Christian warriors are called by God to fight on the side of good, and it is the obligation of the Church to train them. Christian martial arts training is a valuable tool to train the heart of a warrior. Exodus 15:3 says that God is a "warrior". To understand this important attribute of God, and how it applies to our lives, are the objectives of this book.
