Contributor Bio:  Romano Craig Romano is Washington's most prolific guidebook author, which suits the energetic writer's passion for hiking, running, kayaking, and cycling. Craig has written about his outdoor passions for dozens of publications, including Seattle Met, Backpacker, Paddler, Adventures NW, AMC Outdoors, Washington Trails, and CityDog. He is currently a columnist for Northwest Runner, Outdoors NW, Seattle Magazine, and The Mountaineer, and is the author or co-author of more than ten guidebooks. He lives with his wife Heather and cats Giuseppe and Scruffy Gray in Skagit County, Washington. Contributor Bio:  Theisen's, Aaron Aaron Theisen is a Spokane-based outdoors and travel writer and photographer. Aaron's writing and photography have appeared in numerous publications, including Adventures NW, Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living, and Out There Monthly. In addition, he is Eastern Washington Regional Correspondent for Washington Trails magazine. His photographs have been featured in galleries and solo exhibitions throughout eastern Washington, and four of his prints are part of a permanent exhibit at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture in Spokane. Aaron is also the webmaster and editor for the Friends of the Columbia Highlands website and the webmaster for the Washington Native Plant Society.
