This book clearly shows seekers and believers how to prepare for the coming of the Lord. This is the central purpose of Christ's warnings concerning his coming. Differing time-lines, contending interpretations, and whether the rapture is pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib are completely irrelevant to Christ?s warnings about his second coming. In spite of it all, "If we are not ready, nothing else we say, know, or disagree about will really matter.?

The book is divided into three sections. The first section covers such questions as: What is the Rapture? When is the Rapture? How will the Rapture take place? The reader will be pleasantly surprised about how clearly, and with well documented precedents, the Bible has already provided unassailable answers to these recurrent questions.

The second section tackles 24 questions covering the whole gamut of teachings, suppositions, puzzles and queries about the Rapture and the Coming of the Lord. This may well be described as FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). There is something here for every reader: the one who wonders why a loving God would leave anybody behind; the believer who is tired of dates that have failed to live up to expectation; the one who wants to do the right thing but feels confused or inadequately informed about this ?doctrinal stuff;? the serious student of the Bible who is turned off by positions and arguments and all else. The answers are direct, side-stepping distracting controversies and the sensational.

The last section, about 60% of the book, lays down steps that the believer must either take to be in a place of readiness for the Lord or to maintain his preparedness. Many readers will probably be stunned to discover that the Bible has already demonstrated that even if the date, place and hour of the Rapture were known, that by itself means nothing and confers no privilege on anyone unless such knowledge leads the seeker to becoming prepared.

Being ready is everything! This is the approach this book has taken to invite the reader to re-examine the subjects of the Rapture and the Second Coming with fresh eyes, away from so much hype, popular myths, traditions of men and many ?epidemic false beliefs.?
