In a roller-coaster novel of emotional highs and lows, the lone witness to a revenge killing is wanted by both the police and the drug kingpin who ordered the hit.

Within a matter of seconds, Derrick Anderson?s life changes forever. While he is waiting to catch the daily Metro bus to work on the corner of Minnesota Avenue and Benning Road, he witnesses the murder of Jose Benitez, a member of the violent Eastside Riderz street gang. With his life at stake, he manages to escape, but not before he is seen by the killer?a man who will stop at nothing to silence Derrick.

Unable to trust the police, Derrick stays on the run. With his back up against the wall, a bounty on his head, and no one to trust, the stakes are high as Derrick fights to save his life. Street literature at its best, this fast-paced and action-packed urban murder mystery will keep readers on their toes.
