In Book One of the middle-grade fantasy series Horace J. Edwards and the Time Keepers, 11-year-old Horace is an ordinary boy whose family moves to Niles, Michigan. On the first day of sixth grade, his grandfather mysteriously dies and Horace is given a strange gift--a stone beetle.
