My Artistic Journey Into Pointillism Christopher Cairns

This is a historic record of my journey into the artistic style of Pointillism. In 2016 I decided to further my artistic skills in developing the art form of pointillism. What is Pointillism? Basically its the creation of images using dots. The downside to using dots to create an image is that you need a lot of dots to build the image up and this can take a very long time. The other problem you may face is its not as easy as you think, put a series of dots in the wrong place and what should look like a handsome or beautiful image may well turn out to be a disfigured image. Once you've placed those dots down, you can't erase them or cover them over so Pointillism can be very demanding when it comes to accuracy. This book lists all the pieces of artwork I created during the year. Some are successful while others are total disasters. I want this book to be a reference work for budding artists and art lovers alike to learn from my mistakes and benefit from my successes. If you're not an artist but you like art then I hope you find something in here that brings joy to your heart.
