This is the second book about the two real-life Chincoteague ponies, Sunny and Jess. After being purchased by the Immen family at the world-famous round-up and auction, the two colts were taken to Hawkeye Stables in Ridgely, MD where Debbie Roys Ober became their initial caregiver and trainer. The Immens returned to North Carolina to finish building their farm. This book tells about their adventures as they left the wild to learn how to live with humans. They were in Maryland for almost ten months.
