He has established His Church as His kingdom instrument to bless the nations, evangelizing and teaching the nations how to live lawfully and successfully under His administration and his benevolent covenant of peace. God has given us His Word, His authority for doctrine and living, and He has also given us the sure promise of His Second Coming on the Last Day to consummate the Kingdom of Heaven, remove everything that offends Him in any way, and usher His people into the perfect eternal day. Instead of living in dread with a desire for imminent escape, the people of God should live in steadfast hope and assurance, overcoming in every area of life, and living in the success that comes from covenant relationship with the King of kings and Lord of lords.
