Coach Rex Tonkins is an ordained pastor, author and speaker and is co-founder and president of the The Destiny Project, Inc. located in Colorado Springs, also serves as founder of Elevate Leadership Group. Coach Rex has discovered timeless keys to fulfilling God's plan and purpose for your life. Prayer, persistence, and passion are foundational in reaching purpose and destiny. Rex Tonkins has a BA degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Management and a Master degree in Curriculum and Instructions, has worked at Focus on the Family, serves as State Coordinator for National Day of Prayer and served three years with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association as State Coordinator for Colorado. Rex has Authored three books Seven Steps of Elevating Effective Prayer, Seven Steps to Elevating Effective Leadership and Seven Principles to Purpose. He coached basketball, track, and speaks to sports teams from high school and college, his goal is to encourage, equip, and empower leaders across America with the life changing principles found in God's word.
Vickie Tonkins is a psalmist and recording artist attended Montreat College received a BA from Colorado Christian university and earned a Master Degree from University of Phoenix. Has been a licensed principal since 2006. Vickie also serves in leadership roles in ministry and is actively involved in politics in Colorado Springs, CO.
Rex and Vickie have two adult children Christian and Victoria, daughter in-law Elle, son in law Nelson. They have two grandchildren Samantha, and Ruthie.
