Slavery was a detestable act orchestrated by capitalism and it destroyed generation of African American. It has created the situation in which we as blacks have to scream that our lives matter. The most disappointing thing about the history of slavery is that we barely know or don't know our hero's that stood up and fought against an insurmountable force. True injustice. General Nat Turner was one of these hero's. He is a legend and it's time for everyone that believes that slavery was an absolute monstrosity that America will never recover from to start celebrating men of his stature and bravery.
