Is it flourishing, lush and full; are there a few green spots here and some brown patches there, or is it depleted because you've given everything away? We have to ask ourselves every day: What does my garden need? Does it need the sun of encouragement; could it benefit from the fertilizer of forgiveness; would the pruning of confession bring great relief, or is it simply craving the beauty of rest? As we walk through the gardens of our lives, we will find that we have within us, all we need to cultivate a life of abundance; we only have to be still, listen and let the beauty come forth."
