Madd and the cousins fight on despite the long odds against them. The orchestrators of the holocaust that would be used to end the world as people knew it were monsters by anyone's definition. No doubt about it. Unfortunately, being ethically bankrupt and evil in most people's eyes didn't prevent them from being consummate planners. Being cold hearted, with their only criteria total global domination, actually worked in their favor. Having no conscience allowed them to contemplate any and all methods no matter how heinous to accomplish their goals.
