Behind the Smile is an inspirational and women's empowerment book spotlighting the unique challenging of 15 triumphant women. This book will inspire, encourage and empower other women and men who are going through similar struggles, and let others know they are not along in their struggles. Some of the stories profiled are a woman living with HIV; surviving breast cancer, sexual assault, divorce to surviving the unimaginable. The women in Behind the Smile are incredibly brave, courageous and empowering. They didn't lose hope despite the odds against them. Their stories help bring increased awareness to the diverse issues that plague the lives of so many and they help give a new perspective on these issues. More importantly, their stories will help promote an increased level of humanity and encourage others in the world to offer kindness because as we never know the battle the person next to us is silently fighting and the pain they suffer behind their smile.
