When you are STANDIN in a storm of your life, and we will have many of them, you are in a very dark place. When I first saw the new picture of my book cover I didn't quite grasp it. The young lady who helped me with this book, changed the cover because she saw something different in the title that I had neglected to see. STANDIN in the midst of the storm forgiving the unforgiveable is truly a dark place because we don't ever really want to forgive those who have hurt us, lied to us, beat us, raped or molested us, scorned us and even murdered us or someone we love. We'd rather stay in the place of unforgiveness because it is safer to be angry and feel sorry for our selves. I know because I was there until Jesus touched my life in a miraculous way by just saying "Follow me and I will show you the way." When I tried to take my life and the breakup of a loved one I was feeling sorry for myself. I couldn't keep the man I loved and, whom my children had loved. I was so prideful that I told him to go and do what his family wanted of him. This wasn't a great storm for me, but it was a storm that would take me through many more. This time I would go through with the Lord and the Holy Spirit on my side. Did it hurt less and go away quick? No way! It was something that would stretch and grow me. Once again if I could tell you there is another way than I would, but there is truly only one way to forgive those who have wronged you and that is through the love God, Our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Just get to know him, believe and you will be set free. I love you again and be blessed.
