Bruce is retained to represent a man charged with rape. Not only does his client offer a truly preposterous alibi, but he stiffs Bruce for his fee. Unpaid and unable to extricate himself from a protracted trial, Bruce plans to exact revenge by selecting a jury certain to convict his client. But during the heat of the courtroom drama that unfolds, his determination for revenge is overcome by his compulsion to win.
