"An Exuberance of Love" is a collection of poems written by Jack Zimmerman that span several decades of the relationship with his life-partner, Jaquelyn McCandless. The love poems are paired with images from the extensive art works of South African artist, Majak Bredell, each one associated with the underlying theme of that particular poem. Most of the poems were written for Jaquelyn on various celebratory occasions. Several poems also involve Jack and Jaquelyn's autistic granddaughter, Chelsey, who played a strong role in her grandparents' relationship. Majak's images have been selected from her many vivid descriptions of the Divine Feminine, as well as from her black and white drawings inspired by essential forms in Nature.
