Life isn't always as it seems... Author Arnikia Robinson discloses her compelling journey of being raised in a God fearing household by a family that provided all of her wants and needs then as a teenager becoming enticed by the illusion of glamour that the street life possessed. She quickly realizes she was trapped in a lifestyle where violence and drug selling were normal everyday occurrences and loyalty was defined by how well you followed the rules of the street. Spending much of her teenage years traveling down the wrong road, Arnikia redefines her life and goes on to become a productive member of society. After obtaining two college degrees, being employed in her chosen career field for over 17 years and having children of her own, Arnikia realizes that in order to reach her own child who is facing similar teenage issues, she must share her story to give him and others hope that change is possible. In Bendable BUT Unbreakable, Arnikia shares her past mistakes, broken relationships, and how she returned to the teaching of her Christian upbringing to make a better life for herself and her children.
