After 20 long years of plastering a smile on her face and pretending all is peachy-keen, Tegan felt compelled to share her ongoing battle with depression and frequent desire to give up. It's hard for her to believe that in our society discussions on mental illness are often still considered taboo. From silly pet stories and rock climbing adventures in Europe, to the depths of depression, Tegan shares the ups and downs of her life's journey. Along with providing a few laughs, she ultimately hopes to empower people to recognize and accept mental illness and encourage them to discover what really is important in this tiny-big world we inhabit.
