Desperate to find a solution to awaking victims from trauma-induced coma before his grant expires, neurosurgeon Dr. Zachary Gage (Zach), becomes reckless in what he is willing to do to his most promising patient, a John Doe who arrived at the emergency room in a coma. With no family or friends to claim him, the hospital staff call him Frank after his striking resemblance to "Old Blue Eyes."



Over a seven month period, Zach dedicates an incredible about of time to Frank. Unfortunately, Zach's aggressive treatment brought on by his desperation leads to Frank's death.



When Frank dies and Zach is pushed to his breaking point, his wife, Dr. Marcia Gage, a neuroscientist conducting cryogenics research, decides to perform a miracle of her own.



Marcia uses her medical skills to bring Frank back from the dead. He's now incredibly strong, abnormally intelligent, and psychically linked to the woman who saved him. As his relationship with Marcia becomes intimate, Frank sees Zach as an obstacle to his growing obsession. Marcia may have given him a new chance at life, but she didn't give him a conscience. Frank will do anything to protect her and to have her all to himself.
