Appearing with Him in Glory, Aspects of the Resurrection in Covenant Creation by Francis G. Febus The focus of this volume is to investigate the nature; purpose and function of the resurrection. This will begin with the unraveling of an assortment flawed assumptions in relation to life, death, the soul, hell and the grave. We are using this very basic approach to the study of the resurrection because therein lies the problem most students have with the study of the Bible; their learned assumptions have led them to horrible conclusions about the Word of God. A few of the questions that we raise and attempt to answer in this volume: - Is Genesis 1 a thesis on a universal creation? - What is covenant creation? - Was Adam the first created human? - Did Adam die the day he sinned against God? - Is the soul immortal? - What died in the Garden of Eden? - What must be "born again"? - What is the first resurrection? - What is the second resurrection? - Is there a physical resurrection of the body for covenant believers? - Is the term "Glorified Bodies" a biblical term? These are just a sample of the basic questions that we have attempted to address in order to answer the larger questions concerning the resurrection. We believe that this study may enlighten, challenge, and anger some of you. If that occurs, then we will have achieved our goal in drawing attention to some aspect of this important issue
