Fear Not Joses Hizkiah

The phrase "do not fear or fear not" is a command, mostly from the Lord and it pays us to obey if we do not want to be ensnared. Fear causes us to underestimate the authority and power of God and lift up the powers of principalities or men that seem to have grip over us as if they are immortal or most powerful being. Fear leads in the wrong direction because of the inability of the fearer to properly assess the situation at hand aright just like the Israelites wanting to go back to Egypt. Fear rubs us of boldness, infuses inactiveness and clamp up our mouth when we ought to speak. The fearful departs from hearing and obeying the voice of the Lord and are led by strange voices that has its root in the devil or what fearful self believe we ought to do. Fear makes us to abandon the broken, the hurting, the misfits and the neglected that we ought to help because even we have lost composure and right thinking in order to do what is right. The fearful remains in the valley of despondency and refuse to push forward in order to conform to the image of Christ and they often procrastinate rather than standing up to do what is right in the sight of God and man. "And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: FEAR NOT, for I AM WITH THEE, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake" Gen. 26:24 God is set to give you liberty from the spirit of fear, timidity and cowardice. Be Bold! Be Strong! For the Lord your God is with you.
