A devastating disease has swept across the world, decimating all in its path. The few who survived by the time the vaccine was created huddle in fear in the remnants of civilization. Despite the cure, much of humanity still harbors the disease as it waits within them to strike, an incurable reminder of the horrors that befell the world. Desperate to control his people, a civilization which has come under the grip of a man with deadly ambition must face the reality of a looming genocide. Now, in the shadows of civilization, a people drowned by fear must come to terms with what it means to be human, and decide if they have the courage to accept those that make them fear the most.
