The tone of this book aims to challenge the notion that the secondary and post-secondary environments need to make dramatic changes if retention of students, especially those at risk of academic failure, is to be improved. I was one of these students. I had no dream, no vision, or any idea how to navigate the complex world of academe or life. This book aims to teach stakeholders how to teach the bumblebee, which theoretically cannot take to the air, how to fly and fly high.
