Learning How to Be. The work of A. H. ALMAAS, since more than forty years, aims at diffusing the learning of how to be, not only for medical and psychological professions. None of his twenty books has yet been translated and published in French, and we plan to do it in this bilingual collection. We hope that in a future as near as possible, these works will be part of the basic studies library of all human beeings seeking to cultivate themselves, of any doctor, psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, psychologist, therapist or coach. We hope this because the efficacy of therapy is also proportional to the patient and therapist's openness of consciousness, whatever the techniques and methods used. A. H. Almaas, still very little known in France in 2016, has been nicknamed the Einstein of psychology and spiritual development, for he renewed the field's paradigm, as Einstein renewed the theoretical physics paradigm. A nuclear physicist, psychologist, psychoanalyst and founder of a psycho-spiritual school comprising of, to date, more than four thousand students and teachers in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia, he implements the study and practice of psychology and spirituality with the same precise scientific analysis as when analyzing the intimate physical components of matter. His method, the Diamond Approach, is based on the direct experience and exploration of common and expanded states of consciousness, and uses the Enneagram as one of its tools. It is a cognitive psycho-spiritual approach, allowing for a progressive understanding, then an expansion of consciousness, from the extreme narrowness of pathological condition, to the opening of ordinary consciousness, to enlightened consciousness, to universal consciousness. Aucun de ses vingt ouvrages n'est encore traduit et publié en Français, ce que nous projetons de faire dans cette collection bilingue. Nous espérons que dans un avenir le plus proche possible, ces ouvrages feront partie de la bibliothèque d'études de base de tout ètre humain cultivé, de tout médecin, psychiatre, psychanalyste, psychologue, thérapeute, coach, car l'efficacité thérapeutique est également proportionnelle à l'ouverture de la conscience du thérapeute et de ses patients, quelles que soient les techniques et méthodes utilisées par ailleurs. A. H. ALMAAS, encore très peu connu en France en 2016, est surnommé l'Einstein de la psychologie et du développement spirituel, car il en a renouvelé le paradigme, comme Einstein a renouvelé celui de la physique théorique. Ce physicien nucléaire, psychologue, psychanalyste, fondateur d'une école psycho-spirituelle de plus de quatre mille étudiants et enseignants à ce jour aux USA, au Canada, en Europe, et en Australie, met en oeuvre en psychologie et en spiritualité la mème précision d'analyse scientifique que lorsqu'il analysait en physique les composants intimes de la matière.
