The simple village of Blackwell has succeeded in sealing away an evil that has brought upon death and destruction. However, the darkness cannot be contained forever. Following twenties years of peace and reconstruction, the village faces the evil once again. Luna Gale, one of the villagers and a healer, is the only one capable of ending the evil's reign of terror and death. Although she is the proclaimed daughter of the moon, her abilities may be the very downfall of Blackwell that she was meant to prevent. The Creatois, an ancient tribe neighboring the village, holds the answers to Luna's gifts, but they have their own agendas for the young woman.
