I was fortunate enough to choose as a profession electrical engineering. This decision has given me many satisfactions during my entire life. I have worked in 33 countries and I have visited 66. I have been able to assess and try to understand the characteristics and idiosyncrasies of various peoples, countries and cultures, which has been, needless to say, a very enriching experience. From all this travelling around the World, I have of course many interesting stories to tell. I have tried to be as concise as possible so as not to bore the prospective readers. Each story is placed in chronological order, so it is easy to follow with the stories, the changes in my life. However each story is also "self-contained" in the sense that it can be read without having to read the whole document.
