This textbook helps students to explore practical ways of connecting people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds by linking art, intercultural communication and regional design. By studying community development through intercultural dance and food events, students explore meaningful links between language, culture and intergroup dynamics using English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) in various multilingual settings. Students are encouraged to participate in intercultural dance and food events, and develop their own.
