On that fateful day when she literally waded into our classroom, I suspected that her presence would tweak the way we did things at St. Georges High; although I couldn't have imagined the extent. My suspicion was quickly confirmed when she introduced herself as the Mrs A. H who loved KFC chicken. At that very moment, I convinced myself that this fat, black teacher with massive afro-hair was one not to mess with. So; I resolved to get into and stay in her good books; for life. Unfortunately, my then partner-in-pranks, Sam, didn't quite get that, so he called her "fat." And to everyone's shock, she picked him up and chucked him out of the window! This marked the first in a series of surprises that Mrs. A. H. had up her sleeve.
