Time was passing by, everyday Nature repeated facts as the sun did not forget to set in the west and always arose in the east; what was the change ? The drastic change was a civil war, which broke out, when the prime minister, Hafizullah Amin tried to execute western culture in a nation which would prefer to beheaded but wouldn't bow down to non Islamic culture in their country . Afghanistan became a hot topic in the world's news, as it was going through a cold war in 1979. The land was already being clawed in a civil war, as to swept away Muslim doctrine and belief by western frame of reference to Afghanistan . Thousands of Muslims joined the Mujahdeen and declared a Jihad . The situation was exasperated as thousands of Muslim leaders were arrested whereas a huge number fled to the mountains to join the Mujahdeen as to devoted to a holy mission for Allah; whereas good way off, Russians were in Afghanistan to lend a hand to maintained the power of Amin reign. There was hate and anger which was bubbling up high across the world and the Russians replied the demurrer as they were invited by Amin and they were not there to invade Afghanistan; though declaring Mujahdeen as terrorists.
