Recognizing the sure truth that the Bible is God’s book, as it is commonly called: “The Word of God”, we must keep in mind that He did not cause His book to be written for Himself; nor even for use by His angels, nor for all the heavenly hosts, but only for man; that is to say for all humanity, without regard to social status, colour of skin or place of residence. This means that God has given everything necessary in His Word so that man, whom He created, may enjoy blessings both for spiritual as well as material life.
