"We're about to go down a hard road," Locke told Chandrama after a week of waiting for the biopsy report. They knew it was true: Stage IV tonsil cancer that had spread to the lymph nodes. While fear and trepidation were among their first responses, love and commitment to get through it together was right alongside. Chandrama started a CaringBridge site to keep everyone informed, and over time, their community loved and supported them in ways they never expected or could imagine. It truly takes a village to go through cancer treatment.
