"In the beginning was the Verb" is how John 1:1 reads in many Spanish Bibles. Something happens when we look at discipleship as verbs and not just more information. The 5 Verbs of learning are: -Imagine: dreaming kingdom possibilities in our heart as we start to pray and act.-Connect: taking initiative to draw closer to others with a like-minded vision.-Risk: taking a step of faith together that would fail, if not for God.-Reflect: returning constantly to the Scriptures for guidance and correction-Celebrate: worshipping and rejoicing in who God is and what He is doing in an through us. This series will take you through a learning adventure where you will explore each verb in practical ways as to how you "learn Jesus" so that personal and world transformation happens. The focus on "HOW" to learn nicely complements other discipleship resources that focus on the "WHAT."This series will be especially useful for those who completed The DNA of Discipleship, the first series of 40 Days of Discipleship and for those returning from mission trips, seeking to apply what they learned once they are back. This will generate new ministry and help mobilize every participant in the world-wide mission.
