As an IT professional I can feel the upheaval of the world economy, and the gap that is being created...this book is a compilation of my short notes on these trends. This book starts with a brush-up of popular Lean process improvement tools. In the second chapter, I have shared the concept of "Lean Innovation Approach" because I observed that existing innovation efforts of some enterprises lack two things: the vision and spirit of the entrepreneur and lean management. The third chapter is an overview of 'Knowledge and Innovation economy', the current economic trend. Last three chapters of this book cover the case study of those countries that are best examples of the spirit of enterprise- Israel, Singapore and India. Israel is a remarkable example of technological innovations; Singapore is one of the largest financial hub and India has emerged as a bright spot of hope for the world economy.
