The first fruits of my labor in poetry, or more accurately the first published work. These poems are near and dear to me due to their transformational effect in my life. In some ways they are rumination in the way musicality of language, instruments, and life intersect. They range from praises to God, to revolt against the system that we inhabit. There is love, there is surety, there is angst, and there is instability. There is a decent amount of music as well. I tried to encapsulate a connected groove in the growth of the narrative lilted out along the page.
