When a young, campaigning journalist is found dead on a railway line, smelling of alcohol, the conclusion of the police is suicide. However, his girlfriend doesn't believe it! Tom McLean is asked to investigate and he soon learns that the journalist has been researching the shadowy establishment figures behind a wind farm development, and that corruption and murder lie at the heart of the scheme.
