As the final book of The Human Trilogy, Human, is singularly tasked to meaningfully reconcile the themes of parts 1 and 2. Where the earlier books broadly explore different mythologies, what could be called the dominant deceptions of an era, part 1 the scientific materialistic myth and part 2 the polytheistic myth, part 3 exposes these to be no more than the principal instruments by which man became successfully hypnotised into a dream state. The main characteristic of the waking dream which embroils and encloses him and which is administered by these man-made packages of world and reality interpretation, these mythologies, is, that once thoroughly inculcated into his psyche, they persuade him, utterly erroneously, that he, more or less, knows. Human reveals the real meaning behind manufactured myth and connects stories about the nature of human existence to the actual experience of life. Whether these stories emphasise materialistic, theistic or deific conceptions, in essence they can only ever be assigned to more fundamental, underlying, existential, metaphysical sources and as partial expressions of a greater causality are, therefore, metaphorical or allegorical presentations of a sort. From making connections between myth and human experience the book proceeds to reveal an authentic existential and cosmological frame work. Our engagement with such correct information will encourage dispersal of 'the cloud of unknowing' that previously monopolised a mind enslaved by partial, faulty notions and by unsettling and dismembering their illusory hold will assist expedition of the actual knowingness intended for us as human beings. My objective in writing this series of books was to move you deeply and, thereby, alter the fabric of your knowingness. I hoped that change would awaken and intensify the capacity to feel, that is to see with the eyes of the heart. Active participation with viable cosmological considerations, rather than inducing hypnosis will instead begin, as it should, to activate that seed of noble humanness, knowingly implanted within us by our maker that has lain dormant, ignored and unwoken due to our wayward, misguided and heedless ways. Part 3 of The Human Trilogy contextualises, synthesises and transforms parts 1 and 2 and positions them where they belong, within a genuinely human existential dimension.
