"Mr. Hodge & Mr. Hazard" is a 1928 novel by Elinor Morton Wylie. Set in the 1830s, this tale revolves around a particular instant in the life of a poet (based on Shelley) who has spent 20 years fighting vehemently for the improvement of mankind but who has become too liberal for the alienating England of his day.
