Andrew Ashford, a Luton FC player, finds himself offered a mid-season loan to a North Cyprus football club, based in Kyrenia. A city he's never even heard of before! Andrew gets introduced to the laid back life in Cyprus- the Cypriot cuisine- and its mysterious historical locations. He then discovers that it wasn't a coincidence that he was sent to the peaceful island, unaware that for him it would be far from peaceful!
