It's October 2015, over the last sixteen month, Paul and I have founded a business at the dawn of the Virtual Reality revolution producing one of the only two wireless free-roam Virtual Reality headset in the world at the time. The tech press is announcing 2016 as the "Year of VR" and we are about to receive over a million pounds in seed funding, what could possibly go wrong? Over the following twelve month, we'll be travelling over 55,000 miles from the Silicon Valley to Shanghai, we'll be offered multi-million pounds investments, work on some of the most advanced tech at the time, have more opportunities than we could have ever dreamed of and yet by the time the "Year of VR" is over, so will we be!The company was doomed to fail very early on and if we could have taken a step back and correct the mistakes, things may have been different... So this book is my personal recollection of the roller-coaster events that happened over that year leading to what must be a text book business failure.
